With 8 lifts taking you to slopes of ranging difficulties, this ski area is fun for any level of skier! If you haven't skied here, you've missed one of the Northwest's great hidden destinations.
White Pass is located between the towns of Packwood and Yakima on US Highway 12. The resort is 12 miles SE of Mt. Rainier National Park, 50 miles West of Yakima and 111 miles SE of Tacoma, Washington.
Ski operations are open daily during winter and there are 1402 total acres of skiing fun, 45 unique trails and 18 Kilometers of cross country trails.
Top to bottom, the vertical drop is 2,050 feet above the day lodge which is at the 4,500 foot altitude. The area boats 8 total lifts such as the Great White Express Quoad, Couloir Express Quad, Basin Quad, Far East Triple, Pigtail Peak Double, Paradise Double, Platter Lift and Magic Carpet for kids.
Downhill trail difficulty is 30% Beginner, 50% Intermediate and 20% advanced. Average annual snowfall is 350 inches. The lifts can service 9,700 skiers per hour.
